Ajan 007'nin yarattığı şimdinin ünlü içkisi Vesper Martini'yi icat ettiği ilk Ian Fleming James Bond romanı Casino Royale'den (1953), ilk kez Diamonds Are Forever (1956) Strong'da söylenen kült ritüeli ‘shaken, not stirred' gibi her Bond hikayesinin kalbindeki parçalar bu kitapta yer alır.
Kitapta yer alan 40 kokteyl, ödüllü London Swift Bar tarafından geliştirmiştir.
