My Window is a personal visual diary in which the artist records the world seen from the window of his Yorkshire home through 120 digital drawings.

Hockney began drawing on the iPhone in 2009 and expanded his digital practice to the iPad in 2010. Working in this new medium, he captures light and colour directly on the screen in a pure and immediate form. The first light of morning, a misty sky, distant lights dissolving into the night, or droplets gathering on the glass—each image preserves the trace of a fleeting moment.

The drawings in this book are more than records of a landscape; they form a visual expression of time passing. From sunrise to nightfall, from the changing seasons to subtle shifts in light, every page invites the viewer into the rhythm of Hockney’s gaze.
